start seems a bit to static

mixing with the kicks is a bit off after that feels like theres a side chain and sound is dipping for the bass

1:00 bass comes in real nice here.

1:30 the sounds are fighting each other pretty bad here

1:48 sounds are blending together

2:20 i hear the makes of a good work up but once agen the sounds are overlapping pretty bad and its hard to make out

2:29 i wish the sounds stood out better here since this is the climax of the song.

2:30 wish the melody was different then the intro, or at least different lead

3:14 low quality sounds destroy the effect here

3:30 wish lead was compressed some and made wider .

4:16 songs a tad long :p

hope this review dose not seem to harsh overall its pretty good , seems like once you get a better understanding of mastering would be alot better but that takes time :3 grate work

mixings good n.n nice to hear proper mixing after the handful of reviews ive made :p
nice chill dnb lead needs to be spiced up some :p really wish the filter would drop off in to something deeper missing the bass x.x

Thanks for the review, RandomDanceofHappy! :) I agree about the lack of bass tones. Several people have already mentioned that - I won't make that mistake again. The lead is just a preset from Wasp XT. I need to start making my own synths, haha. Thanks again! ;)

the filter at the start needs another filter as its slideing to drop the mids from peaking so much c.c
nice beat but needs sharper sounding drums to stick out more
the leads need to be touched back a tad

crash is to loud agen and leads to high here and ur limiters pushing the highs down its kinda awk
dont let limiters do your mastering :p

i like the synth in the bq
mixings really off its hard to hear alot of the bg sounds
might wanna bring up the bass synth at the start
0:23 crash is to loud and needs a touch of reverb
as a hole the leads to loud needs to touch it back and bring out the key sounds in this lead sounds to preset also
1:02 this part sounds good ish aside from the crashes and pulls
1:10 the crashes to loud agen
the lead here is really nice and retro feeling i like this lead and melody but its a tad to loud
kicks need a tad more punch and bas more whomph to it c.c

I actually nailed the mixing on this one. Everything is just the way I wanted it.

The crash is NOT too loud. I bet you've probably just mixed your computer audio to boost all of the wrong levels.

vary intresting c.c key changes are kinda awkword a bit all over the place . dosent quite have a flow to it really if u made all the sounds this song would be a vary good starting place for makeing music n.n

I used A tascam recorder and a crunch pedal but only put the volume up (not the gain).
Also a microphone.

so: guitar -> pedal -> tascam
and: 15 dollar directional microphone shure clone pointed at strings -> tascam.

i love the realistic sound of thiskinda sounds like a music box and thats nice n.n wish it looped a tad better tho :p dosent have the fade in the start so the loops kinda awkword :p

good intro :p 1 19 i feel like the deeper notes need more of a pluck ish sound and get them a bit shorter
kick sounds nice but wish there was some sort of reverb bass going on here
pretty good need to work on the transitions a bit

thank you! I really just cut and shortened this version from a 6 minute long one so some of the transitions might have been compromised due to sloppyness of me. There is actually a little reverb on the kick at that part but it might be too little to hear it.
